Timothy Wayne Eason aka “Pete” was born April 1, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois and departed this earthly life August 31, 2015 at the age of 51.
Tim moved to Nashville at a young age and developed a passion for baseball and became a standout in the sport. He met the love of his life, his wife Anita Edmondson in Nashville, and they spent 30 years together. Tim was a family man. He adored his sisters, Tammy, Lynette, Angie, Monica, Roselyn, and brother, Fred. He traveled often to see them in Chicago and Gallatin.
Tim loved being on Facebook. He used the site daily to update all of his family and friends on his activities and travels, to post motivational and funny sayings, and show pictures of all his new recipes. Tim was a master barbecue chef. He enjoyed hosting family cookouts and showcasing his cooking skills with delicious meats made for all of his family and friends. Tim also enjoyed being a father, grandfather, and uncle to his immediate and extended family. He was especially well loved by his younger family members who had fun playing video games with him whenever they stopped by. Tim had a positive upbeat personality. He had a strong faith in God and loved to talk and make people laugh.
Tim is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Bonnie Eason.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Anita Eason; stepdaughters, Tiffany (Michael) Fisher, Tomeka (Ronald) Johnson; his loving sisters, Tammy Eason (Julouy) Washington, Angie (Keith) Brinkley, Monica (Michael) Ridley, Roselyn (Johnny) Adams, and Lynette (Mark) Daley; brother, Fred (Yvonne) Eason; father, Willie Eason; brothers-in-law, Aaron Edmondson and Jimmy (Janice) Edmondson; devoted friend and brother-in-law, Willie (Bay) Weatherspoon, Sr; sister-in-law, Allysa Spinks; devoted granddaughter, Zakiya Guy, and granddaughter, Tari; grandsons, Tajh and Tyan; devoted nephews, Maurice (Tinka) Edmondson, and Willie Edmondson; nieces, Sykera Spinks and Najari Spinks; nieces in Chicago Toya, Brionna, and Jayla, and a host of other family and friends.
