Tommie Nell Lee

Mrs. Tommie Nell Lee was born June 16, 1925 to the late Thomas and Nellie Rucker. She transitioned from this earth to reward on February 15, 2017.

Along with her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Lee; and sister, Lula Allen.

Tommie was educated in the public schools. She began working in her teenage years up into her seventies. Tommie was united in holy matrimony to James D Lee. They shared over forty-five happy years together. Although this union did not produce any children, Tommie was always surrounded by kids. She loved her nieces, nephews, and their kids.

Tommie did not meet a stranger. She would take up conversation with whomever she met. She was a loving and giving person.

She leaves to cherish her memories, loving and devoted nieces, Vicki (William) Burney and Leneiva Head; other devoted nieces, Helen (Robert) Settles, LaKisha Aikens and Deidre (Larry) Donaldson; sisters-in- law, Barbara (Albert) Nall, Gwendolyn (Clyde) Aikens and Cheryl (James) Russell; brothers-in-law, Alvin Lee and Elder Leslie Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends; a very devoted friend, Grace (Donald) Hildebrand.
