Trevaun Michael Corey Thomas was born to Michael Thomas and Letrice Jenae Williams, on November 02nd 1997.
Trey was a student at Maplewood High School with plans to obtain a Business Degree at Volunteer State. Talented in the Arts, Trey enjoyed drawing, composing, and was a wonderful cook. He assisted his Uncle Shaun with his catering company in Houston, Texas, loved to cook with his Nanna (Monica Thomas), and for his family…especially his siblings. He was very excited to begin employment as a chef here in Nashville this past Monday.
Trey was high-spirited and loved his family, friends and life. He was outgoing, had a crazy sense of humor and never failed to create a smile on anyone’s face. His brothers and sisters share that He was supportive, loyal, caring, loving, and very protective over his entire family. He gave good advice and was fair when resolving situations with his siblings, who he loved spending time with… joking… laughing, “fighting”, etcetera, always resulting in fun at the end. They stress that he was also very forgiving.
Trey will be missed by His family: Father, Michael Thomas; Mom Letrice (Jenae) Williams, Grandmothers Ida Estelle “Nannie” and Monica Thomas, “My Nanna”; four beautiful sisters, Sidney, Charis, Brianna, Naomi; and five amazing brothers Trent, Michael, AJ, Isaiah and Josiah. Devoted cousins Khaleal, Jeremy, Jeanelle, and especially “Cousin Shaun”; Super Uncles: Josh, Shaun, Kevin, Lamar, Alan; Aunties Rochelle, Collette, Kimisha, and Barbara.
More importantly Trey understood He was named after Michael, the Arch-Angel, which means Chief Angel; Trey answered a call to become an Angel to protect us all.
He departed the earth peacefully on July 10th 2016, and rests in the Love of Spirit….
We love you forever Trey.
