Mr. William John Ewing, Sr. Age 81 transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Friday, April 21, 2021.


William John Ewing, Sr., was born on April 4, 1939 to Issac and Vallene Ewing in Nashville, Tennessee.


William accepted Christ at an early age and was united at Jackson Street Missionary Baptist Church.


William was educated in Metro Nashville Davidson County Schools, where he graduated from Pearl High.


William was united in Holy Matrimony to LaSean Ezell. He served his country in the United States Army and received an honorable discharged.


William was employed with Nashville Supply House. His hobbies included: wrestling, fishing, eating, sleeping and watching football.


“Bill” as was known, was proceeded in death by his mother, Vallene Ewing; father, Issiah Ewing, Sr.; son, Kenneth Harris; grandchildren, Antonio Holmes, Juellz Bradford, Sharita Murray; brothers, Isiah Jr.; and Robert Ewing; sister, Minnie Bell Petway;


He leaves to cherish his memories, a very devoted wife, LeSean Ewing; daughters; Rhonda (James) Burgess, Foronta Huff, Stephanie (Richard) Donnell, Sherika Bowden, Jessica Battle, LaShawnda, Brittany, and Rantoyrea Ezell; sons, William (LaTisha) Ewing, Jr., John Ewing, Sr., John Malone, Carey Ewing, Andrew Williams, Stacey Brooks, Troy Harris, Tony Ewing, Theodore Harris, Tyrail and Jacques Ezell, and Tracy Ewing; devoted niece, Geraldine Moore; sister in-laws, Christine Ewing, Rosalyn Blakely, Phillis (Danny) Peebles, Sheryl (Nathan) Beal; mother in law; Cheryl Bell; brothers in-law, Ted Blakely, Jr.; and Edward Ezell; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
