Willie (Jr) Gibson Jr.

Willie Lee Gibson, Jr was born in Bolivar, Tennessee on February 5, 1949 to the parents of Willie Lee Gibson and Hattie Bell Cox.

On Saturday, April 28, 2018 the Lord saw fit to allow Willie to take his rest in Him and he will sleep peacefully as he awaits our blessed Lord’s return.

Willie was educated in the Bolivar Industrial High School. (REMOVE : and graduated in 1967.

Willie was preceded in death by parents, Willie Gibson and Hattie Bell Cox; brother, Quenard Richardson; sister, Velma Crisp; sister and brother-in-law, Annie Mae and Roosevelt Cheairs.

Willie is survived by his four children: Markeith Gibson, Ricky Walker, Sherry (Lyons) Tynn and Kevin Gibson; mother, Mildred Gibson; siblings, James Cox of Whiteville, TN., Thelma Akins of Nashville, TN., Hattie Mae Holt of Memphis, TN., James Gibson of Bolivar, TN., Leonard (Arginer) Richardson, Robert (Henrietta) Gibson, Essie Gibson, Ethel Day, Billy (Juanita) Gibson, Maxine Jackson, Earline Gibson, Martha Gibson, William Earl Gibson, Alice (Darren) Jackson and Joelene (Marvin) Nevels, all of Nashville, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many other that was loved and named by him “Boo”.
